On the 12th of Feb 2022 PFA, Mysore got a call around 11:30 p. m at night about a horse that had been bitten by a Cobra. The horse was struggling and gasping for breath and was in a recumbent position. The PFA Mysore team reached the spot around midnight and our Veterinarian, Dr. Amardeep Singh, started the treatment with the help of para-vets & staff. A lot of fluids along with anti-snake venom and supportive medicines were administered. After an hour of treatment, the horse was able to get up but was still struggling to stand. Around 1:30 a.m the treatment was completed and the horse was able to stand on its own & walk.
