That is our goal for each pet in our shelter. PFA Mysuru brings people and animals together. Our goal is to provide these animals a loving home and a lasting bond. We consider important details such as a person’s home, interests and lifestyle. We match those with an animal’s social, exercise and training needs. Please plan on spending at least one hour for the adoption process. We’re confident that you’ll find it time well spent – and repaid with countless hours of love and enjoyment.

There is no charge for adopting a pet.

Adoption Requirements

• Adopters must be at least 18 years old and present valid photo ID with proof of current address.
• We encourage or may require all household members to meet the new dog or cat prior to adoption.
• If you have a dog and want to adopt another, a dog to dog introduction can be arranged by request.
• Written landlord approval or proof of home ownership may be required.

We share whatever information we have learned about our dogs with our adopters. However, we cannot make guarantees about dogs’ health or temperament.

Return Policy

We strive to make lasting adoption matches. However, PFA Mysuru remains committed to the pets for the remainder of their lives and will accept them back, by appointment, should it not work out. When adopting, we ask clients to be prepared and committed to provide the pet and themselves at least a week together to settle in prior to deciding to return the pet.
